About Us
Built in 1880, Yeadon Town Hall has been a local landmark and a key community building for the past 140 years. The theatre seats 500 people and is the third largest theatre in Leeds.

During its rich history, the Town Hall has been used as a meeting room space, community cinema, school rooms, a library, archive, a concert hall and of course a theatre, amongst many other uses. These days it's known for being a much-loved multi-arts venue and community building.
​
Since April 2019, Yeadon Town Hall has been managed by Yeadon Town CIC. The Town Hall's mission is to provide professional and high-quality theatre, arts and events to the local community and those further afield.
​
As many of you will know, 2020 / 2021 were particularly challenging years. We survived the COVID-19 pandemic only with a very small grant from the Arts Council in May 2020. With minimal funding, we relied on goodwill and donations from the local community, and we can't thank our friends, neighbours and patrons enough for keeping us afloat during a very difficult time.

Our Shows, Events & Activities
As well as providing professional entertainment, shows and events, the Town Hall also provides excellent community facilities. From hosting private parties and corporate away days to providing meeting spaces for community organisations, the Town Hall provides a unique and versatile venue.
​
Yeadon Town Hall is committed to supporting the arts. Its own productions, such as 2019's The Carole King Songbook which toured UK theatres nationwide - firmly putting Yeadon Town Hall on the map as an exciting new arts hub.
As well as providing accessible, high quality theatre, the ultimate aim is to create studios that will enable the Town Hall to expand its creative engagement programme and provide invaluable opportunities and accessible arts training to the local community.
