Community Activities

We've been in the heart of our community for over 140 years. 

However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we're reshaping how we do things in the future. Keep checking back to see our latest news and community activities.

Please note our community activities are currently suspended until further notice. 

Thursday Club Every Thursday 1pm - 3pm

Suitable for: Over 60s, elderly and particularly those who find themselves isolated

When: Every Thursday from 1pm till 3pm, unless notified 

Where: Airedale Room at Yeadon Town Hall 

What to expect: Bingo, games, social fun, interaction, guest performers, piano playing, live music, coffee, tea, great cakes, quizzes and lots of fun and laughter! 

Accessibility: Located in the Airedale Room, the room is warm and accessible. There is a disabled toilet nearby and a wheelchair if required. 

Transport: We can organise a taxi or a wheelchair-taxi from your house, please just let us know. 

Capacity: We have a limited capacity, so please book in advance 

Cost: £3 per person, per week

How to book: Please ring Alison Leigh on Wednesday between 9.30am - 2.30am or email her at: alison@yeadontownhall.co.uk to reserve a place for you or on behalf of someone else. 

Friday Cafe Every Friday 10am - 12noon

Suitable for: Everyone!

When: Every Friday from 10am - 12noon, unless notified

Where: Airedale Room at Yeadon Town Hall 

What to expect: Freshly brewed coffee, tea & cake and somedays bacon sandwiches.

Accessibility: Located in the Airedale Room, the room is warm and accessible. There is a disabled toilet near by, and a wheelchair if required. 

Transport: We can organise a taxi or a wheelchair taxi-from your house, please let us know. 

Capacity: First come, first served.

Cost: Free Entry
